A television is a large black rectangle. There is no styling trick that changes that fact. The better approach is to make it one element in a larger composition.
Lower it
Many televisions are mounted too high. Start with comfortable viewing, not the empty wall. In most seated rooms, the center of the screen wants to be close to eye level.
Reduce the contrast
A darker or mid-tone wall makes the blank screen less abrupt. You do not need charcoal paint; even a warm stone color can soften the transition.
Then solve the cables properly. A single visible wire has a surprising ability to make an otherwise careful installation feel temporary.
